Night Watch
Night of Love Vigil

The Night Watch is an all-night vigil of prayer and reparation honoring the two Hearts of Jesus and Mary to obtain graces and mercy for sinners and our world.  This vigil was started in 1969 at St. John’s Church in NYC.  It has since spread across the country. Pope St. John 23rd called all night vigils, “The cloister brought into the world.”  He further stated that “these vigils identify with Jesus and Mary in the redemption of the world.”  Our Lord asked His apostles to stay and pray with Him all night during His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.  Today Jesus is asking you to come and keep Him company during the Night Watch.

  • The vigil is every 1st Friday of the month.
  • 11 pm to 6 am– the vigil opens with Mass and Closes with Mass at 6 am
  • Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament all night closing with Benediction in the morning.
  • There is a program of prayer every hour all night.
  • All 4 mysteries of the rosary are prayed
  • Time for quiet meditation
  • Confession
  • Coffee break at 3 AM
  • The Pilgrim Virgin Icon of Our Lady of Fatima will be at the Night Watch vigils.
