FAQ

Why can I not hear AM 1060 after dark?
AM 1060 is a daytime, Catholic talk radio station. The signal, as dictated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), rises and sets with the sun. If we were to broadcast during the hours of darkness our AM 1060, Canton signal would interfere with the AM 1060 signal in Philadelphia PA, which has seniority over our station.   After we sign off for the evening, you can listen online through our live stream or through our mobile app for your smartphone and tablet.   If you live in the Canton vicinity, you can listen to Living Bread Radio on 94.5 FM, our translator.   Find out more here.

Why do you not play music on Living Bread Radio?

Our  goal is to motivate our listeners to further their knowledge of the Catholic Faith and to seek a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.  We take the responsibility of broadcasting the teachings of the Catholic Faith very seriously.  We have added one hour of music on Sunday at 1PM.  Check out the Catholic Playlist!

Can you explain this mobile app and what it is?
The broadcast industry is constantly changing. This has been the case since the inception of the internet and cell phone technology. There are several new ways to deliver audio to mobile devices. The Living Bread Radio App gives you the ability to listen to our programming (AM 1060) on your mobile device not only when we are on the air, but 24 hours a day. This unit can then in turn be connected to headphones or to a special type of radio unit. For further information about these devices and how to use them, view next FAQ. At this time, the mobile devices supported are the Apple and Android systems.
