Reclaim this land for Your glory and guide our leaders to make decisions that honor You and Your Word. Grant us the strength of mind and heart to readily defend our freedoms when they are threatened; give us courage in making our voices heard on behalf of the rights of Your Church and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance (Psalm 33:12). We thank You for the favor, grace, and mercy You have extended to our nation, the United States of America. Thank You for allowing us to live in a country where we can freely worship You.
We come praying for our leaders, that they may hear and act upon the voice of the Holy Spirit. Implore the Body of Christ to not grow lazy and complacent in praying for our nation, but to remain diligent on the wall of prayer.
Forgive our nation for its sins and have mercy on us. Forgive our leadership for their bickering and infighting. Forgive us for our wicked hearts, perverted mouths, ungodly behavior, hatred toward authority and each other, and unforgiveness.
May this great land always be “one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Amen.
