By visiting Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica as a Pilgrim Church for the Year of Mercy for Prayer and Meditation, a Catholic can gain a plenary indulgence. Anyone desiring to make a pilgrimage to any of the churches is advised to call the parish to check on times that the church is open for visitation.
